Subaru Establishes New Nürburgring Lap Record

Understandably, Subaru of America Inc. was proud to announce that the Subaru WRX STI Type RA NBR Special had recently set a new four door sedan lap record at the world famous Nürburgring Norsschleife race track in Germany. Shining a bright spotlight on the capabilities of the Subaru sedan and its all-wheel drive, the vehicle ran the 12.8-mile lap in 6:57.5 -- a time measured by track timing equipment and verified by Nürburgring track officials.
